Olivia has specialised as a solicitor in Private Client work for over 20 years. As well as advising upon and drafting Wills, lasting powers of attorney, and family trusts she also provides advice and support to minimise Inheritance Tax and help individuals and their families to plan for their future.
Helping families and personal representatives with probate and the administration of estates, both where the deceased has left a will and on intestacy is a key part of Olivia’s work. This can include advice on post-death variations of the estate and working with executors and trustees to wind up existing trusts and administer discretionary will trusts.
Having graduated from Exeter University with a degree in Chemical Engineering, she then went on to change course and qualify as a solicitor. She has continued to hone her skills and knowledge and is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
Away from work, Olivia enjoys spending time in the mountains, walking in the summer and skiing in the winter.
